Patronus Docs

Set up Patronus Desktop on macOS or Windows, connect containerized workloads, and confirm which AI providers and agent tools are covered.

  • Installation covers macOS, Windows, setup, repair, and clean uninstall flows.
  • Docker CA Support explains how containers and SDK runtimes can trust the Patronus certificate authority.
  • VPN Support documents proxy boundaries, split-tunnel behavior, and explicit mode switching.
  • Tested Provider List tracks provider, CLI, SDK, and agent coverage.

Patronus runs locally on the device and observes AI traffic before it reaches supported providers, SDKs, CLIs, agents, or local model endpoints.

On macOS and Windows, Patronus uses operating-system protection capabilities to observe supported AI traffic.

  1. Install Patronus Desktop.
  2. Confirm protection is running in the Desktop App.
  3. Verify Docker or SDK certificate trust if workloads run outside the host trust store.
  4. Check VPN behavior before rolling out to users with split-tunnel or corporate proxy setups.
  5. Confirm the relevant provider, CLI, SDK, or agent surface is listed as tested.
